Business Title: Senior Strategy Manager Division: Mergers & Acquisitions / Strategy Education: MBA or Equivalent Job Responsibilities: As a HCVW Strategy Manager, you will report to a Senior Manager or Director within the Strategy group. You will support a variety of types of projects, including:
- Working with the HCVW business units to refine strategies, improve existing operations and identify growth opportunities
- Creating ecommerce business plans and assisting in business development for new ventures
- Providing strategic support for potential ecommerce acquisitions
- Developing and delivering presentations to communicate HCVW strategy to employees, HCVW board members and investors
- Leading and participating in strategy projects across HCVW Inc businesses
Job Requirements:
- Strong background in ecommerce business analytics, specifically with an ability to distill complex business issues and strategies to highlight insights for executives Superb Excel & PowerPoint, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ecommerce and/or payments experience is a plus but not strictly required.
- Must be a interested in ecommerce in general.
Business Title: Sr. Manager, Consumer Marketing Division: Marketing Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Job Responsibilities: The Sr. Manager, Consumer Marketing for HCVW will lead integrated marketing campaigns across the full range of marketing disciplines at HCVW, including Brand and Advertising, Internet Marketing, Relationship Marketing, PR, Social Media Marketing, Loyalty Marketing/Incentives and User Experience Creative teams. This individual must quickly develop a deep understanding of HCVW’s customers, inventory, and positioning, and translate that into impactful marketing strategies focused around key drive periods to produce tangible ROI positive business results. In 2010, this individual will be challenged to launch HCVW marketing, drawing upon his or her extensive marketing experience to drive innovation in marketing at HCVW. In addition to ensuring flawless execution of large scale integrated campaigns, the Sr. Manager Consumer Marketing will be responsible for analyzing success of campaigns, understanding the dynamically changing competitive marketing environment, and incorporating these learning’s into campaigns and future planning cycles. Job Requirements:
- BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred. The ideal candidate will possess 8-10 years of consumer marketing experience, with brand management, agency account planning, marketing strategy and/or marketing management consulting experience.
- Previous consumer marketing experience with a recognized consumer brand is a must, and internet experience is preferred but not required.
- The role requires superlative leadership, negotiation, communication and presentation skills. Ease with senior management and can effectively interface at many levels with top executives.
- Strong strategic marketing orientation and tactical business sense, and a track record of building businesses and brands within highly competitive and fast paced consumer markets, preferably in new categories and/or markets.
Business Title: Content Management Architect Division: Marketing Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Job Responsibilities: HCVW is seeking a Content Management Architect who will lead technical design and development efforts for our J2EE-based CMS system. The candidate will report to the Principle User Experience Architect in User Experience Architecture. The ideal candidate should have experience in leading content management system architecture and development. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Job Requirements:
- The candidate will take ownership and oversee HCVW’s Content Management System, including Java coding, database table design, JSP template development, system configuration and troubleshooting of server-related issues.
- The candidate will be responsible for customizing and expanding the Content Management System platform, integrating the platform with other applications within HCVW, and building solutions based upon the platform.
- The candidate will be responsible for quantifying the scope of projects and feature requests, identifying reasonable solutions/approaches, leading technical discussions with cross-functional teams, and selecting, designing and implementing the most suitable alternative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with the ability to gather and translate user requirements into design documents, time estimates, and costs for development.
- The candidate must be able to establish organizational partnerships; communicate across the organization; foster collaboration; negotiate effectively; and mentor internal staff. Management may be remote, so self-starter preferred, unafraid to ask questions and assertively pursue answers and make decisions.
